What matters is now

Everyone has memories because memories are forever.  But have you ever tried to let go of a certain thought? Memory? Did something happen in your childhood?

"Is this wrong?" You might ask yourself periodically or, "What made me come to hate this?" This is fully normal.  We, as humans, do this all of the time. We don't even realize it but we do.

"Is this what's holding me down?" I ask my friends, family, and self.  Maybe, it is.  But, let me just say one thing.  IT DOESN'T MATTER. WHAT MATTERS IS NOW.

If you robbed a bank, or if you did vandalism on a bridge, leave it behind you.  It happened.  In the past.  This is the present.  You can change it.  You can change you.  You can break that chain.  Change who they think you are. Change what they think of you.

"There's nothing I can do.  Nothing I can change.  What matters, what matters, is NOW."
